This policy covers Christopher L Smith PA, doing business as Southern Realty Academy, 3850 E Gulf to Lake Hwy, Suite 2, Inverness, FL 34453. It applies to this site and to the courses delivered through it.
What we collect
- Account details — your name, email address and mobile number when you sign up.
- Course records — your enrollments, accrued seat time, lesson progress, quiz and examination results, and any certificates issued.
- Sign-in identifiers — if you sign in with Google or Apple, the email address that provider confirms to us. We do not receive your password.
We never receive your card details. Payments are processed by Stripe, Apple, or Google depending where you purchase; card data goes to the payment provider and not to us.
Why we hold it
To deliver your course, to establish that you completed it, and because a permitted Florida real-estate school is required to keep student records.
Who we share it with
- The Florida DBPR, for course-completion and continuing-education reporting where reporting is required.
- Stripe, Apple, or Google, to take payment depending where you purchase.
- Meta, LinkedIn, and Google Ads, for website activity and purchase measurement as described below.
We do not send lesson progress, quiz results, examination results, or certificates to Meta, LinkedIn, or Google. Advertising measurement uses website activity and purchase information.
How long we keep it
Student records are retained for as long as the school-record requirements that apply to a Florida permitted school require, and no longer than we have a reason to keep them.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of your records, or ask us to correct them, by writing to 3850 E Gulf to Lake Hwy, Suite 2, Inverness, FL 34453 or emailing support@southernrealtyacademy.com.
We will be straight with you about one limit: where we are required to retain a student record, we cannot delete it on request while that obligation runs. We would rather say so than promise a deletion we cannot perform.
Cookies
A session cookie keeps you signed in. We also use the Meta Pixel to measure visits, course views, checkout starts, and completed paid enrollments, and to improve our advertising on Facebook and Instagram. Meta may receive page URLs, browser and device information, and course and purchase information (course ID, amount, and currency), and may use cookies to associate activity with its services. You can manage cookies through your browser settings and advertising preferences through Meta. See Meta's Privacy Policy.
We use the LinkedIn Insight Tag on public, signed-out pages and the enrollment confirmation page to measure advertising visits and completed purchases. LinkedIn may receive the page URL, referrer, browser and device information, and a purchase conversion signal, and may use cookies for attribution. This tag is excluded from sign-in, student profile, course-player, and signed-in account pages. The purchase signal contains a conversion ID, without your email, payment details, or student records. We use the Google tag for Google Ads on the same public, signed-out pages and the enrollment confirmation page to measure advertising visits and completed purchases. Google may receive the page URL, referrer, browser and device information, an ad-click identifier, and a purchase conversion with the course price and a one-way hashed order reference, and may use cookies for attribution. It is excluded from the same sign-in, student profile, course-player, and signed-in account pages, and the purchase signal does not include your email, payment details, or student records.
